Beth E. Lee, MBA, MSc
A qualified and inspirational writer, researcher and
psychological skills trainer .
With an MBA in Marketing, Beth spent 20 years working in teams and in leadership roles within global corporations, NGO’s and SME’s.
In 2009, Beth found herself deep in post-natal depression after the birth of her first child. She stepped out of the marketing world and spent over a year engaged in a combination of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and individual psychotherapy. She had to unlearn and relearn how to think and live. That time in therapy changed and saved her life. Today, she can’t believe that the psychological skills she learned in therapy aren’t taught to everyone. This is what drives her to research, write and inspire others to apply psychological skills to enhance their mental health in daily life.
Beth has lived in 5 countries (USA, AU, SING, and IRE), giving her global and cultural experiences to enhance her perspectives and understanding. She loves to travel, stay curious and learn about the differences and similarities in the stories that make us human.
In 2019, Beth received an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health and a British Psychological Society approved, Psychological Coaching Certification. She spent a couple of years coaching expat mums, helping them manage their inner conflicts and psychological blocks, until COVID hit.
In 2020, Beth moved from the UK to Ireland with her family and began delivering training to educational and organisational clients. She still loves to get in front of a classroom and work with kids from 6th Class to those at University and Masters level to help them think with intention.
Today, Beth is concentrating on her writing as she develops the Get What You Want series of books to help people enhance their mental health and become more intentional in their thinking to ultimately thrive in life.
