Everyone takes a wrong turn once in their life. Usually, it’s due to an unexpected life change. A death in the family, a job loss, weight gain, an age milestone or simply moving house.
But what happens when your life goes horribly wrong after getting what you wanted and wished for? This is exactly what happened to me when I fell into a deep postnatal depression after my first child was born. But my story doesn’t end there. If anything, that’s where it begins.
I speak to organizations, groups and companies, and address events about the importance of knowing who you are and how psychological flexibility can help you enable and embrace change. You have to take a step back and redefine or revisit your authentic self before changing your circumstance, behaviours, or thinking.
I will teach your audience the tools and techniques to deal with unhelpful thoughts and their responses. Topics such as: identifying and working with your strengths, the importance of your important, understanding where your meaning lies, confronting and embracing negative thinking and preparing, enabling, and embracing change. All these tools and techniques help build resilience, understanding and foster a new way of thinking – a thinking that enables your inner mind mentor to help you every step of the way.
I offer an inspiring story backed up with neuroscience and psychology evidence-based research to help anyone understand that they are in control of their lives – when they are actively thinking.
I will develop a bespoke workshop, training session, or keynote based on your needs and work with you to make sure my approach is the right fit with your mission. If you’re interested in having me speak to you or your organisation, or at your event, please feel free to contact me or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.Let's connect on social media...
